miscellaneous thoughts

Peace is not the absence of suffering, but the knowledge that God is with me through/during it. Embracing and believing that knowledge, though, is sometimes difficult and can only be done by His Spirit. There is nothing we can do of ourselves, which at times frustrates me, but should rather push me back into his lap.

"It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness." Lamentations 3:22-23.
